Sharon Durfee, RPh, BCNSP, FASPEN is CAPS' Clinical Nutrition Support Pharmacist.

Sharon has extensive nutrition support experience in hospital and home care settings and is board certified in Nutrition Support Pharmacy Practice. She has chaired the Board of Pharmacy Specialties board of directors and has participated on both the Nutrition Support Pharmacy Practice and Compounded Sterile Preparations specialty councils.

Sharon has multiple presentations and publications to her credit. A long-standing member of ASPEN, she has received ASPEN’s Distinguished Nutrition Support Pharmacist Service Award, the Barney Sellers Public Policy Award and served in numerous local chapters and national leadership roles with the organization over her many years of practice.

Sharon serves a vital role at CAPS as the clinical liaison to customers for their training, education and consulting needs. This role complements CAPS’ parenteral nutrition products, offering customers support to meet their parenteral nutrition needs.
